The Maryland STEM Festival is planning a STEM Parade in Frederick on October 15th

The Maryland STEM Festival is an annual celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics that takes place each Fall consisting of hundreds of free events to promote STEM across Maryland. The mission of the Festival is to encourage all students regardless of background and experience to take a greater interest in STEM with the hope they will pursue a STEM related career. The parade will consist of contingents showing their support for STEM. The parade will be followed by a collection of exhibits promoting and demonstrating different areas of STEM. This will be a unique, fun opportunity for Frederick area families.

The first meeting is tentatively scheduled for April 19th at 6pm. If you are interested in joining the committee (even if you cannot make the first meeting), please contact Phil Rogofsky, Founder and Executive Director, mdstemfest@gmail.com or 410-627-1074. If you know of anyone else who would be interested in joining this committee, please forward this information.
