DESCRIPTION:Join MTC CRC and Anne Arundel Community College for an evening of exploration with local STEM employers and faculty at our “Pathway to Careers” Open House!April 17\, 2024 \n5:30-8 p.m.*\nCenter for Applied Learning and Technology Building\nAnne Arundel Community College\n101 College Parkway\nArnold\, MD 21012\n*Plan to arrive by 7:30 p.m. at the latest for the complete open house experience. \nAt the open house\, you’ll have the opportunity to: \n\nLearn about the various programs\, certificates and degrees the School of Science\, Technology and Education has to offer as you speak directly with faculty and staff.\nConnect with employers and hear directly from them on how a degree or certificate from one of our School of Science\, Technology and Education programs can lead to a successful career. Find out about employment opportunities they currently have available. If you are actively searching\, feel free to bring a résumé with you.\nEngage with our graduates and learn how AACC played a vital role in their career journey.\n\nWhether you are a high school student\, current college student or someone looking for a career change\, we believe you’ll find our open house helpful and engaging. \nEmployers: Interested in Participating? \nEvent purpose\, goals & target audience.  \n\n To provide employers an opportunity to engage with current college students\, graduating high school seniors and the general public who may be seeking full-time\, part-time\, or internship opportunities with employers/businesses specifically related to the programs offered in the School of Science\, Technology & Education.\n To provide current college students\, the general public\, high school students and their parents access to your company and representatives where they may engage in conversation regarding what a future may look like at your place of business. These discussions may include a suggested academic program an individual may pursue to achieve such a position.\n\nCost to the participating businesses? Nothing financially! We just have two simple asks in return. \n\nPlease be prepared to speak with not only those currently seeking employment\, but those who may be looking to determine their future path. It is the latter that is so important\, as our programs must remain well enrolled to ensure the health and diversity of your future candidate pools.\nIf your company has a website with a calendar or career page\, consider adding this event. Sharing provides access to those not reached by the college’s advertising campaign while retaining awareness of your business. We will be happy to provide you with an electronic copy of the “Save the Date” flyer or you can simply link to the event webpage.
