SUMMARY:NCI Technology Opportunity Webinar: Focal Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Using High-Density Theta Burst: Translation and Back-translation
DESCRIPTION:Register to attend a free webinar hosted by the NCI Technology Transfer Center. Attendees will learn about a new method for administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). This new method improves both the instrumentation used to deliver TMS treatment\, and the treatment’s magnetic pulse pattern. \nWhen applied to an awake rat treatment model\, it was shown to provide significant improvement over conventional TMS treatment methods. The webinar will discuss new instrumentation that overcomes voltage and current limitations seen in devices currently being used for treatment\, and novel magnetic pulse patterns that improve the therapeutic effect of TMS. \n
