Attend HEEHD 2019 and join fellow HBCUs, Hispanic Serving Institutions, Tribal Colleges, and minority businesses to cooperatively develop sustainable biomedical & information technology (IT) related innovations that create 1) intellectual property (IP) (i.e., copyright, patents, and trade-secret) for minority institutions; and with 2) capabilities to tech-transfer your IP to minority companies that, subsequently, translate IP licenses into commercial products. Together, we can directly address economic and health disparities while strengthening our minority colleges/universities and businesses.

The HEEHD 2019 conference theme is Take Lead to Eradicate Economic and Health Disparities by Commercializing HBCU’s BioMedical Innovations. This theme addresses a tactical mission objective for training HBCUs to take the biomedical innovation lead to tech-transfer IP to minority companies that, consequently, achieve the measurable goal of commercializing HBCU’s biomedical innovations that eradicate health & economic disparities with NIH STTR funding.
