Foundation for the National Institutes of Health 2020 Award Ceremony

The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH), the not-for-profit partner of the NIH, creates and leads alliances and public-private partnerships that advance breakthrough biomedical discoveries and improve the quality of people’s lives.

For the eighth consecutive year, the FNIH will award the Lurie Prize in Biomedical Sciences which recognizes outstanding achievement by a promising scientist age 52 or younger.  The award is made possible by Chicago-based philanthropist and FNIH Honorary Director Ann Lurie, reflecting her passion for advancing biomedical research and medical care.

The event will take place on May 20, 2020 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. and will be attended by representatives from the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, National Capital region business leaders, philanthropists and notable researchers.
