Seven teams—each including an entrepreneur\, a mentor\, and UMBC graduate student fellows—will participate in a “Shark Tank-style” competition to share their ideas for commercially viable technology solutions that address critical challenges in cybersecurity\, infrastructure\, utilities\, and supply chains. \nThe entrepreneurs will present to a panel of judges who will evaluate each presentation on its strength\, market potential\, and real-world impact. \nNow in its sixth year\, the Maryland NEW VENTURE Program\, created by bwtech in partnership with UMBC\, accelerates the launch of high-potential tech ventures.
