DESCRIPTION:Advance your life science career with BIOTrain’s Building Essential Skills Series. These short (2.5 hours) workshops are designed to provide foundational skills to incumbent workers in biotechnology who are looking to advance their careers. They are prepared with industry guidelines and are taught by industry experts. BIOTrain workshops are offered free of charge to registrants. \nFew skills are more valuable and practiced more poorly than listening. In today’s high-stress world\, communicaton is more important than ever\, yet we devote less time to really listening to one another. You will learn the pitfalls that interfere with effective listening and how to avoid them.
