DESCRIPTION:Maryland AI’s April 29 session features legal AI startup founders Dan Broderick and Jared Jaskot\, for a discussion of legal AI opportunity. As a TEDCO Maryland AI Roundtable program\, this will be a fully participatory\, moderated discussion session\, open to the Maryland AI and startup communities. \nDan Broderick is founder and CEO of BlackBoiler (https://www.blackboiler.com/)\, which applies proprietary deep learning and natural language processing technology for automated contract review. BlackBoiler is based in Arlington and secured $3.2 million in funding last October from investors including a strategic corporate investor\, DocuSign. \nJared Jaskot is a Baltimore immigration attorney who created YoTengoBot (https://yotengo.bot/)\, a chatbot that helps immigration law firms engage with information seekers and in on-boarding clients. The bots speak Spanish and English and integrate with Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. YoTengoBot won $200\,000 in TEDCO seed funding in February. \nTEDCO is the Maryland Technology Development Corporation.
