SUMMARY:Advancing Biotechnology for a Safe and Secure Tomorrow
DESCRIPTION:\n\nMITRE is excited to host an important and timely conference that will explore the economic and national security implications and real-world impacts of emerging biotechnologies. This conference\, held in collaboration with the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology (NSCEB)\, will convene experts\, policymakers\, industry leaders\, and innovators to share the insights and foster the collaborations that will drive continued US leadership. In April 2025\, the NSCEB will release its final report and recommendations to the nation. Join us to discuss their findings\, recommendations\, and implications for policy and practice with the NSCEB followed by a series of in-depth talks and panels on the opportunities created by the growth of the bioeconomy as well as the challenges to prevent the misuse of increasingly powerful biotechnologies. \n\n\n
