DESCRIPTION:Maryland’s many main streets are the heart of our vibrant and energetic communities. The 2024 Main Street Maryland Conference\, organized by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA)\, will recognize our state’s beloved Main Streets and the warm\, authentically local experiences our community cultivates in these spaces. \nOn October 8\, 2024\, Maryland Main Street managers\, board members\, community teams\, volunteers\, advocates\, and economic and community developers from across the state will converge for a day of engaging presentations\, experiences\, and perspectives that highlight the treasures of Maryland’s local communities and foster thought-provoking conversations to shape a treasured future ahead. \n
